Collaborative Analysis: Understanding Users Together
+ With Aras Bilgen + Language English
It is great that many companies recognize the value of user research and reach out to their users for insights. Unfortunately, many companies fail to benefit from user research because they carry it out with only a small team of researchers and designers. This small team makes isolated decisions, uses flawed methods with wrong participants, and arrive at incorrect conclusions. By the time the project members realize that the study is useless, it is already too late, months are wasted.
Good user research needs to follow a solid framework and everyone on the project needs to be involved from day 1. In this workshop, we will discuss why the entire team—from developers to business partners—should be a part of user research, and why they must absolutely be a part of the analysis phase. We will then go over techniques for creative analysis that help your teams focus on impactful changes together. If you have a big ego, this workshop is not for you.
