UX & Art: How to Apply Artistic Perspectives in UX Design
Artful Thinking perspectives applied in creation of most famous artworks also inspire smart companies in designing best user experience. UX designers and Business Analysts who wish to acquire these artful perspectives should first analyze and understand Bauhaus art movement that was founded in Germany with the vision of: “Unification of the Arts through Craft.”
Artists such as Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky contributed to Bauhaus as instructors. The curriculum included workshops on painting, sculpture, cabinet making, textile, metalworking, and typography. The Bauhaus School established a foundation for achieving best-user experience by combining functionality, usability, and aesthetics with the motto “Architecture begins where engineering ends.”
