Speak my language: UX writing for Designers
Is lorem ipsum your best friend? Have you ever heard of UX writing, microcopy or content strategy? Is the old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” still your motto? I used to live in the same bubble, but luckily I realized that UX writing and plain language can improve user experience, and turns out writers can also use our help. I am not a copywriter, technical writer and, to be honest, writing was never my strongest suit. But as a UX Designer, I already know how to communicate with users in a simple way through designs.
In this talk, I will focus on the power of words and show you that you don’t have to be Hemingway to create good labels for your Call to Actions.
