Data visualization has become instrumental to make sense of big data and drive decision making in complex settings. UX Manager of Cloud Data Visualization, Hilal Koyuncu will introduce UX design and research practices that help build data visualization experiences for everyone.
Hilal is a UX lead and manager at Google, empowering Google Cloud with insightful data visualization experiences that amplify cognition and decision-making. Hilal brings over eight years of design experience to her role, including time at Recombine, Crowdtap, Fjord, Superbright, and Collective Spark.
Prior to joining the design world with an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, Hilal received her BS in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland College Park and worked at Cornell Medical College as a research assistant conducting research on developmental genetics, cancer and vascular biology. In her free time, Hilal enjoys traveling, music, and making electronic gadgets.
