Workshop:
"Designing effective remote workshops for your projects"

This workshop is intended for managers, designers, and anyone who works project base and needs to design remote work sessions. A workshop on how to efficiently conduct remote, team workshops and meetings.
Businesses relying on teamwork currently face huge challenges relating to a sudden shift to remote operations. How to make such work more tolerable? How to make it bring results and measurable effects? How to develop interpersonal competencies and clear communication? Thanks to a flexible approach and practical exercises, everyone can conduct valuable online sessions and regain control of business challenges.
During the workshop, we will learn basic methods of designing and organizing teamwork online. We will consider each of the introduced methods and discuss ways to make the best use of them at work. We will teach the basics of online facilitation and show you the basic principles of Liberating Structure to create truly participatory and collaborative processes within your company.
Meet Onat
Onat teaches Human-Centered Design, loves Liberating Structure, uses Agile on a daily basis for working with innovation teams.
Onat graduated from Bahçeşehir University in Turkey with a degree in International Trade and Business Administration and completed his graduate studies in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons, The New School, New York. During his graduate studies, he had the chance to have research studio classes from IDEO’s Lead Designer in NY and has also done an internship as a Service Designer at Fjord. Meanwhile, he became a volunteer organizer of Global Service Jam’s New York chapter—a worldwide event for a recognition of service designers. After returning to Istanbul, he continued volunteering in the Istanbul chapter of Global Service Jam as well as OpenIDEO. He worked at WUNDER, a design company founded by ex-Fjordians, as a Service Designer and gained experience in user experience and service design for clients such as major banks, telecommunication providers, e-commerce companies, and startups.
Onat worked at ATÖLYE as Learning & Organizational Designer and he is designing and facilitating transformative learning experiences for businesses. He took part in different projects such as training Chief Design Officers for the UAE government with ATÖLYE and IDEO and long-term corporate transformation projects with Turkey’s top banks and telecommunication companies.
Currently, Onat left his job at ATÖLYE and started working on his startup idea in financial investment. In the meantime, he is leading and taking part in service design projects.
